Live, Love and the Beyond
Cranleigh School Horseshoe Lane, Cranleigh, SurreySuperb mezzo-soprano Chloe Allison presents songs for the unusual but richly expressive combination of mezzo and viola alongside Wagner's Wesendocnk Lieder, one of his most famous non-operatic works. Written at the same time as Tristan and Isolde, they express the same longing in love, and anguished desperation in the face of death.
